"Thank You, God," Because All Is Well

Some years ago an experienced Christian Scientist pointed out to the writer that in the face of adversity one can always say, "Thank You, God," because all is well. That is, regardless of material sense testimony, all is really infinite Spirit, good, and its perfect, spiritual, healthy manifestation.

This greatly impressed the writer, and he used this helpful thought with much success, often receiving inspiration and healing from it. Of course, this statement of truth has its source in the Bible, and is specifically made in a spiritually scientific way in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

In two powerful and unequivocal declarations of truth the prophet Jeremiah defined God's ever-availability and omnipresence: "Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? . . . Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord." Jer. 23:23, 24; Along this line Mrs. Eddy writes, "God is everywhere, and nothing apart from Him is present or has power." Science and Health, p. 473;
