As a child, I had the precious privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, and in my teens I experienced several healings. I gave up the use of tonics and vitamins. Special metal arch supports, which I had worn in my shoes, were discarded, and I found I could wear any style of shoe with comfort.

As a girl, I had been fitted for glasses by an oculist who diagnosed a condition of astigmatism. As I grew to understand God and man as His image and likeness, I found that the faculty of sight is spiritual, not material. I was healed of the need to wear glasses.

A spinal curvature, for which a medical doctor recommended an operation, was healed through my awakened understanding as I pondered the truths of my spiritual identity as God's reflection. To my great and boundless joy, I was healed instantly.
