My gratitude for our healing and regenerating religion is boundless
My gratitude for our healing and regenerating religion is boundless. Five generations of my family have been blessed with Christian Science healings. My own earliest healing was that of a serious case of rheumatic fever. I have had healings of broken bones through prayer alone, and many other beautiful demonstrations of the power of Truth.
A member of the family had a healing of a broken hip. This happened at his place of employment. He turned to God in prayer and heard and felt the bones snap back into place before the company doctor arrived. The doctor was astonished and said he had never seen so perfect a setting of broken bones.
My husband came into Christian Science through a healing of a severe case of blood poisoning. His arm from his fingers to his shoulder was affected. He had been doctoring several months with it and was fearful that it would be necessary to have the arm amputated.
