I should like to relate a healing which took many weeks but was truly a purifying and uplifting experience.
The difficulty was extreme pain in and paralysis of the right thigh and leg. Sleep was impossible for many days and nights. A Christian Science practitioner was asked to give me treatment. We worked together. He asked me whether I was beholding a suffering, human mortal or God's perfect, spiritual man made in the image and likeness of God. And both of us acknowledged the perfect spiritual selfhood, the only true man, not a suffering mortal needing anything; that man already has all that God has as His reflection; that God is All and gives all good to His beloved children.
