True Sight-saving
A sign posted in a certain industrial plant admonishes the workers, "The sight you save, God gave." This sign expresses a praiseworthy concern for the employees' welfare and is a reminder to them to take advantage of various eye-protective devices, such as shields and goggles.
To the student of Christian Science, the words of this poster can be challenging and meaningful in a completely different sense. He knows that the precious faculty of sight is indeed a God-bestowed gift and that the understanding and demonstration of this fact are vitally important to true sight-saving.
