My first healing after my introduction to Christian Science...
My first healing after my introduction to Christian Science eight years ago was that of chronic sinusitis from which I had suffered all my life. I had even undergone an operation for the condition. For sometime after this operation it was much improved, but then it grew worse again.
I had not been interested in Christian Science for very long when the sinusitis became so troublesome that it was very difficult for me to breathe and even to be understood when speaking. Ever since I had been a young child, I had had to use nose drops, and I always slept in a sitting position to help my breathing.
On this particular night I climbed into bed, reached for the drops, and started to use them. Then it suddenly occurred to me that I did not need them because my understanding of the presence of God would help me breathe. I then put the bottle down, took all my pillows away, except one, and went to sleep.
