I am most grateful for the effective healing power of Christian Science, which operates with absolute certainty when we turn completely to God and trust the law of Love.
Six years ago I had a sudden miscarriage in a restaurant in New York City. Since I live twenty miles out of the city and no one was available to take me home in what was an acute condition, I was rushed to a hospital. While I was there, the physician informed me that I had a large ovarian tumor, which should be removed within the next ten days. As I left the hospital, I was told to make arrangements for the operation.
Never having had to face up to a medical verdict before, I seemed to be in a very frightening situation. But I had known Christian Science all my life, and I realized that I had to prove for myself the infallibility of Truth and the fact that all discordant conditions, no matter what their physical analysis, can be healed.
