The Divine Remedy versus Time
Let's consider the divine remedy that Christ Jesus made practical. His method was radical. He applied scientific spiritual facts to supposed mortal conditions. As a result a palsied hand was made whole. Blinded eyes saw. The dead were restored to life. These works indicated something extremely important about the underlying nature of material conditions. They are mental.
His divine remedy was to bring Truth—absolute reality—to bear on human belief. The human condition that yields to Truth must not then be an expression of unalterable, absolute fact. Those who consider the evidence of physical sense to be absolute and final are solidly convinced of the reality of this belief. They see what they believe.
But Jesus corrected this false conviction. He dispossessed the belief of its power and expression. Those he healed responded to Truth with a fuller expression of health. They awakened in some degree to their real, perfect nature.
