All good is truly right at hand
All good is truly right at hand. As we accept this fact and are grateful for it, we begin to demonstrate it in our human experience. I am grateful to be learning this valuable lesson. It is always a false argument of lying mortal mind that presents the picture of lack of anything good.
I had the privilege of being raised in Christian Science. When I was sixteen, I moved to my aunt and uncle's home to attend my last year of high school with my cousin and a group of new friends. From the age of sixteen to twenty I did not go to Sunday School or church, and I did not follow the teachings of Christian Science. But the seed of Truth had been sown and was bearing fruit. Looking back now, I can see instances of protection and of good being shared with these friends.
When I had married and was expecting our first child, I knew I wanted to give our children what my mother had shared with me —the spiritual foundation on which to build a fruitful and happy life. This was the beginning of my earnest study and application of Christian Science for myself.
