Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream (Isa. 66:12)
Moffatt suggests, "I send her in full flood prosperity, the wealth of nations flowing into her." A some-what similar thought is expressed in the Revised Standard Version: "Behold, I will extend prosperity to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream."
