RADIO PROGRAM NO. 298 - What Are We Expecting?

Announcer: Some people go through life preoccupied with fear of disease. If they see statistics or a list of symptoms, they immediately wonder if they're a potential victim. What we expect plays a big part in what we actually experience.

Questioner: Judging by the news we hear today, it appears that no matter how much money a person has or how good he is, he will not necessarily be free from disease.

Speaker: The popular view about health is that into each life some rain must fall. But it isn't a necessary one. It isn't inevitable. It's a theory that is based on the concept of man as simply a bundle of material elements.
