Our family have been blessed by many evidences of God's loving care over the years. Class instruction and the yearly association meetings have enriched my experience, as has the opportunity to serve a branch church as clerk, Sunday School teacher, and Reading Room attendant.

About eleven years ago my husband became very ill with a serious physical breakdown. It was never diagnosed medically because, for the first time, he was willing to turn to a Christian Science practitioner for help. For several days there was steady improvement in his condition. However, the testing time was not over, for in a day or two he became mentally ill, lapsing into a sort of coma from time to time. He was out of work, and we had a young son. The fear on my part was very great.

We shall never forget the love and encouragement that was shown by the practitioner. A dear Christian Science nurse donated her services for we were unable to pay her.
