Here and Now
What is really present here and now? Is it sickness or health? Is it lack or abundance? Is it sorrow or joy? Questions such as these present themselves to every student of Christian Science when he is tempted by some form of inharmony.
For example, the physical senses may be shouting that disease is present and active. They may be aggressively insisting that pain is distressingly apparent here and now, and that the actual perfection of man seems distant, dim, and very much absent. Given this unhappy situation, what do we do about it? What is the spiritually mental process whereby we rise up in thought, contest the claims of sense testimony, and prove them to be impostors?
