Since my first testimony was published in 1939, I have received many blessings through the study and application of Christian Science. Through the intervening years I have been healed through prayer of various ailments. Cuts, burns, bruises, and injuries have been healed instantly. At other times the way was dark and uphill, but help through Christian Science was forthcoming. Articles have been recovered by knowing that there is no loss in the infinitude of God's allness. Supply has been demonstrated as I have held fast to Christ Jesus words (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

About four years ago I developed an arthritic condition. Almost every joint in my body was affected, and the pain was severe. I had effective help from a devoted Christian Science practitioner off and on over a period of about eight months. I do not know just when the demonstration was completed; but the healing has been permanent, and I have good use of every part of my body. Although I am eighty-five years of age, I do my housework and take care of the flower beds, lawn, and another small garden, with very little help.

"Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionally to their occupancy of your thoughts" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 261). I make a special effort to hold "to the enduring, the good, and the true." A correlative passage from Scripture (Isa. 26:3), "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee," has also been very helpful.
