Humanity's Future

What can foretell the future of humanity? Material belief based upon the natural sciences or Scriptural prophecy based upon the revelations of divine Truth? Currently predicted are great developments along biological, psychological, technological, and therapeutical lines. According to these, men are to control their environment and consciously direct their future evolution.

Theoretical possibilities swarm over the pages of news media: speedy-propulsion nuclear transportation, pedestrian conveyer systems, wide use of air-cushioned vehicles, homes on low-gravity space stations, cars summoned and dismissed by electronic control!

On the dangerous side, we read of mass mental manipulation and the effort to tap the potentialities of the brain through the use of electricity to stimulate memory, and to educate by mechanical impressions on the brain.
