RADIO PROGRAM NO. 228 - Challenge to Youth: How Do You Judge?—Part II

Questioner: As a practical matter, how can young people learn to make sound judgments when they're sizing up a book, when they want to determine what's proper behavior on a date, or when they want to know generally what is worthwhile?
Speaker: Well, it's a big question, and at the risk of appealing to oversimplify, I would suggest possibly three basic points.

The first, to dare to admit that mere personal opinion or cultivated taste isn't enough.

The second, to dare to face the fact that what appears to be worthwhile actually may not be worthwhile.
