Church Dedications
The Hartford Times-Press October 21, 1963
Christian Science Society. Hartford will dedicate its church edifice this coming Sunday, Oct. 24, with church services at 10:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday School will convene at 10:45 a.m. The lesson subject for the day will be "Probation After Death." The public is invited to attend the services.
The church, located on the southwest corner of Highway K and Pleasant Valley, is sharply contemporary in design. It is now a familiar sight to most Hartford residents, since the church building was completed in March. 1963, with the first services being held in it on March 31. . . . A Christian Science church cannot be dedicated until the building and its furnishings are completely free of debt. . . .
