Transcendent Love
The tests of a Christian's faith in God seem unending in the human experience. Through victory and through defeat he is being prepared for final emancipation from the belief in material life and existence.
The goal of a complete demonstration of man's original oneness with God as His image and likeness is worth every effort. It cannot, in fact, be attained by any individual without striving. Each must make his or her own way. The only unfailing and true help is from God, divine Truth and Love. This help from on high is felt on earth as the redemptive influence of the Christ.
Christianity generally accepts Christ Jesus as the Way, and Christian Science affirms through proof that he alone has illustrated for mankind the manner of individual salvation. Next to his having overcome death, this man's greatest gift to society is the evidence of his overcoming of hate with transcendent spiritual love.
