The Armor of Good Thoughts

Saturday was here at last. Jeff had invited his friend Rick over for the afternoon. At first they played in the tree house in the old apricot tree in the backyard. After a while they decided to climb to the top of the tree and slide down the rope ladder. Just as Jeff reached the ladder, he stepped on a weak branch and came tumbling to the ground, scraping his back on a rough bough.

Rick came quickly to Jeff's aid. Both boys were students in the Christian Science Sunday School, so it was natural for them to use the truths they had learned of God and man.

As Rick helped Jeff into the house, he reminded his friend of the place in the Bible where it says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." ^{Ps. 46:1;} Rick said: "God does not cause accidents or know about them, for God knows only harmony. You live in God, good; so you can never be in pain."
