Over forty years ago my mother was introduced to Christian Science, and my sister and I were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School, where a foundation for which I shall always be grateful was laid.

My gratitude for Christ Jesus, for Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for our lecturers and practitioners and for all our dedicated Sunday School teachers is great.

When I was about twelve, I became ill with a nervous disease toward the end of the school year. I stayed home for the last few weeks and made many trips to see a practitioner, learning of man's true and perfect self untouched In any disease. I was completely free by the time school started in the fall.
