Imparting Love
"I have been thinking for days," a young friend remarked to me recently, "and I can't find a single reason for my existence." Many thoughtful individuals in this era of crises and shifting values find themselves asking: "What am I?" "Why am I here?" "How can I give purpose and meaning to my life?"
Through the ages many have found in the life of Christ Jesus an example of purposeful living. Because of his love and understanding of God, lie reflected Love in all that he said and did. Wherever he went, his unselfish affection enabled him to impart divine Love.
Obedience to God, spirituality, gentleness, pure affection, the essentials of the Master's life, are still the ingredients for purposeful living today. To impart Love in unselfish service, as Christ Jesus did, will give meaning to the lives of all who strive to follow in his footsteps.
