Adversities Become Opportunities

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy says, "The very circumstance, which your suffering sense deems wrathful and afflictive, Love can make an angel entertained unawares" (p. 574). The following experiences of three branches of The Mother Church illustrate this truth.

A society in Ontario, Canada, tells of the progress which unfolded when the membership was apprised that its lease on the quarters where it was holding services would not be renewed:

"Although we were few in number we purchased a lot on which to build. A building fund was established with the small amount of money which was left in our lecture, fund after all expenses of giving the previous Christian Science lecture had been paid.
