Words cannot express the...
Words cannot express the gratitude which I feel for Christian Science, for through its teaching I found the way to harmony and health. I learned to know that thinking influences our experience, and this fact became very clear to me through an experience I had.
As a child I suffered from lung trouble. While it never reached a dangerous state, still for a long time it was observed and checked by medical men. Many years went by without my remembering these happenings, until one day in our city an X-ray checkup was announced which had been arranged according to the law.
I had learned of Christian Science meanwhile, yet error, that is, false thinking, suggested that this condition still hadn't been completely healed. I became very fearful over the thought that the sickness might find confirmation through the X-ray picture. I experienced sharp pains again.
