Christ hath rolled away the...
"Christ hath rolled away the stone from the door of human hope and faith, and through the revelation and demonstration of life in God, hath elevated them to possible at-one-ment with the spiritual idea of man and his divine Principle, Love." So says Mrs. Eddy on page 45 of our wonderful textbook.
Before I became a student of Christian Science, I had been searching for the truth during many unhappy and difficult years and had looked into several religions. One day a friend took me to hear a Christian Science lecture, and I knew my search had ended.
Since my husband was an Army man, the First and Second World Wars brought us many changes of location, with corresponding problems to be solved. With the patient help of faithful practitioners, understanding gradually developed, and demonstrations followed when the truth was obediently applied. This was especially proved when protection was needed during dangerous circumstances in the two war periods.
