God's Angels

How wonderful is the promise (Ps. 91:11, 12): "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone"! Many have been comforted, many have been divinely inspired, and many have been lifted above fear of evil by trusting in this promise.

Christian Science teaches that angels are God's thoughts, the activity of His love. They are ever present and express His all-power. If we put our trust in them and obey them, they will care for us in every way.

The Bible further tells us (Ps. 34:7), "The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." We see the power of angels in Daniel's protection in the lions' den. And how wonderfully did the angel deliver Peter from prison!
