Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." This was proven to me over thirty Years ago. At that time, I asked my husband if he would attend a Church of Christ, Scientist, with me, and he agreed to do so.

We knew nothing about this religion and had never seen or heard of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, until a neighbor told us that she had been healed in Christian Science. She recommended that we have a practitioner come to our home and tell us about the religion.

This was the turning point in my life. The practitioner told me that the first thing I must do if I was going to turn to Christian Science for healing was to destroy all my medicine. This was easy for me to agree to, for I had found none that could cure me of the various ills from which I was suffering. From early childhood, I had tried everything that was recommended.
