Why Weigh Matter?
In Christian Science we learn that matter is not the solid substance it appears to he, but is merely a manifestation of mortal mind—an illusion. Material shape, form, and weight, then, are modes of mortal thought, not of matter; hence the recording of either a deficiency or an excess of what is merely a false belief is futile.
Science teaches that God, Spirit, is All-in-all; that since Spirit, divine Mind, is the only-real substance, there is no matter; that man, the reflection of infinite Spirit, is a divinely mental concept—an idea in Mind—therefore immaterial, imponderable.
