WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST

[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on May 23, 1965.]

They will be still praising thee (Ps. 84:4)

The Hebrew makes it plain that "still" is not to be understood as forming part of a verb "be still," in the sense of "be peaceful" or "be quiet," for it represents the adverb 'oth, used in various senses, including "still, yet, continuously, again." Moffatt suggests, "praising thee all day long!" while the Revised Standard Version has, "ever singing thy praise!"
