Constructive Purpose

When one learns through his study and practice of Christian Science what the constructive purpose of his life is and fulfills it, he experiences great satisfaction. And in proportion as he acknowledges the infinite capabilities that his true identity reflects as the idea of God, good, he changes a barren, unproductive, or limited sense of life into a fruitful one.

The Apostle Paul understood that pure motives and unselfish purposes enrich human experience. He said (Rom. 8:28), "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Christian Science explains that each individual is capable of constructive and sacred purpose. True worth and industry express the nature of God, creative Mind. Through the dedicated and faithful study and application of Christian Science, everyone can awaken to the spiritual resources that his true selfhood reflects as God's expression. He can avail himself of the spiritual forces that enrich his life when such qualities as intelligence, truthfulness, steadfastness, and love govern him.
