ETERNITY, NOT TIME
The
child of Mind
is not caged in time,
corroding slow in the years' dull drag,
but soars, disporting himself,
deathless in Mind's eternity.
Spirit's bountiful flow
of divine, immortal substance
is not clocked and metered penuriously,
but, unmeasured, pours and floods,
renews itself in its own eternity.
Soul's all of grace, and good,
companions now
His own eternal child;
the chime and tick that would forbid it pass
echo empty in Soul's foreverness.
