Seeing a "cured incurable" was my introduction to Christian Science. One Monday morning I saw this member of my family sadly depleted mentally and physically.
Twice the specialist had thought that freedom from the abject enslavement resulting from the use of cocaine and morphine had been accomplished. But now the verdict of the medical specialist was that lie was incurable and that death was inevitable within days.
On Wednesday of the same week, the so-called incurable came home healed through his reading about one hundred pages of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. This healing remained complete.
