"It is a good thing to give...
"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High" (Ps. 92:1).
I wish to express my thanks to God for all the blessings my husband and I have received through the study of Christian Science. For many years it has met our every need, physical, financial, and spiritual. It has been invaluable in the rearing of our three children. We have had many healings, including those of mumps, measles, gallstones, the effects of accidents, colds, and influenza. Lost articles have been found.
At one time I was severely burned by hot liquid. The pain and shock were very great, and I sought the prayerful help of a practitioner. He came to my home; but before his arrival all pain had ceased, and I was perfectly comfortable. There were large blisters on my abdomen for about three days; but at no time was I deprived of my normal activities, including that of serving in a Christian Science Reading Room.
