Staff Meetings in a Branch Church

A branch church reports that a series of Sunday School workshop meetings was held with separate meetings for the teachers of each age group. These meetings were successful in helping teachers respond to the needs of their pupils more effectively.

The superintendent writes: "As the group meetings were small, we were able to sit around a large table. This promoted a cozy, informal atmosphere, which was conducive to free, spontaneous exchange of ideas. Substitute teachers were included.

"All groups talked about the importance of absolute obedience to the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy and the need to study frequently the requirements in Article XX for teaching in the Sunday School. Preparation must come through divine inspiration, which can be ours as we study, live close to God, and do daily metaphysical work for the Sunday School.
