It is with joyous gratitude that I add my testimony to the many which bear witness to the healing power of Christian Science. Every day brings new proofs of the infallibility of the truth set forth by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health. Through the study of this textbook, I have been healed many times.

One healing was that of a bone disease in my jaw, and it took place about sixteen years ago, early in my study of Science. The dentist found evidence of this condition on an X-ray picture and seemed alarmed. I knew the truth of man's perfection as the idea of God as best I could at the time. When I got home I told my mother about the difficulty, and we both worked in Christian Science. Mrs. Eddy writes a good deal about bone disease on pages 422 and 423 of Science and Health, and these truths were the ones I applied to the situation.

I was particularly interested in this passage (p. 423): "The Christian Scientist, understanding scientifically that all is Mind, commences with mental causation, the truth of being, to destroy the error. This corrective is an alterative, reaching to every part of the human system. According to Scripture, it searches 'the joints and marrow,' and it restores the harmony of man." By the next day the evidence had disappeared, and the dentist was very much surprised.
