Christian Science means more...
Christian Science means more to me every day. Each unfoldment of this great truth is to me a step nearer to God.
There have been so many varied healings in our family that it is hard to choose which one to relate, but I should like to tell of the setting and healing of a broken arm through prayer alone.
While our youngest child, aged eleven, was tumbling with some children one evening, she fell heavily on her right shoulder. Although in a partial state of shock, she was able to walk home, and we laid her as comfortably as possible in bed. Taking the Bible, together with the textbook by Mrs. Eddy, I read and prayed most of the night. Among the readings from the Bible, I held to this verse, which refers to God's love for the righteous man (Ps. 34:20): "He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken."
