RADIO PROGRAM No. 101 - Is Our Trust in God Big Enough?

INTERVIEWER: In his book "Your God Is Too Small," J. B. Phillips said: "The trouble with many people today is that they have not found a God big enough for modern needs. While their experience of life has grown in a score of directions, and their mental horizons have been expanded to the point of bewilderment by world events and by scientific discoveries, their ideas of God have remained largely static." [Copyright, The Macmillan Company, New York, 1952.]

Can our trust in God be big enough to bring us through the bewildering problems Mr. Phillips refers to?

SPEAKER: Yes, if our concept of God is big enough and clear enough. When we know that God is our friend, our constant companion, our protector, that His goodness and power are always present, then we can really trust Him.
