Just before I was due to take...

Just before I was due to take a trip, I had an experience which proved without a doubt how definite divine direction can be. Circumstances were such that it meant I had to find somewhere to store my car until I returned. I made inquiries and looked around for a week or more, but without any success. It got to the day before my departure, and a place still needed to be found. Getting a little anxious about the whole thing, I tried more earnestly to realize that God does govern all.

That night after work I drove off to make my way to the main road, but instead of turning off to get to the main road as I usually did, I kept going along a lane which I had occasionally used before. After I had traveled for about two blocks, it came to me to turn right, down a back lane which I had never used before. Turning the corner, I could see that the lane was a cul-de-sac. Then about halfway down it, I noticed a man closing his garage doors. Pulling up beside him, I asked him if he knew of any garages around there that were to let. He replied, "This one is empty here," pointing to the one alongside his, and he directed me to the people to whom it belonged.

I went around to their front door and rang the doorbell. As I was doing this, I heard a man behind me shouting, asking if he could help me. Turning, I saw him sitting in a car, apparently ready to move off. Sure enough, he could help me, and my need was met!
