Many blessings have unfolded...
Many blessings have unfolded to me through the study of Christian Science. One outstanding blessing is the increased understanding of the omnipresence of God.
I have experienced many healings through reading and studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. The daily study over many years of the Lesson-Sermon, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly, and the help of a practitioner have resulted in healings of sore throats that formerly occurred twice yearly and lasted two weeks; nauseous headaches that compelled me to stay in bed for twenty-four hours at a time; a painful growth on my back; badly chapped hands; a bad temper; and constipation. And lack has been overcome.
When the growth appeared on my back, I did prayerful work; but it remained for a few months. I worked as Christian Science teaches, and when the condition became painful, I would use this statement from Science and Health (p. 113): "There is no pain in Truth, and no truth in pain; no nerve in Mind, and no mind in nerve; no matter in Mind, and no mind in matter; no matter in Life, and no life in matter; no matter in good, and no good in matter." This and other statements of truth kept the fear down, but the growth still became bigger.
