It is with great gratitude that I write this testimony to the truth of Mary Baker Eddy's statement (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 454), "Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way."
About two years ago in the autumn I was alone in London, far from home, and totally uncertain of what to do with my life, or even with the next year. It was a new and very dismal feeling. I had been accepted at a British university, but I was not at all sure that I wanted to spend a year studying.
On the other hand, no other possibilities presented themselves, and friends and relatives were of many conflicting opinions about what I should do. For the first time in my life, I was faced with what seemed to be an impossible decision.
