An
individual's right to elect by secret ballot those whom he wishes to govern him is one of the hallmarks of true democracy.
When
we vote on election day, do we stand looking at the long list of names on the ballot, wondering how to make the correct choice for every office listed?
In
the Bible we read, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty".
One
of the basic decisions a Christian Scientist is called upon to make is the choice between spirituality and materiality.
A branch church in California discovered that the spiritual understanding of the word "let" was of great importance in considering the relocation of its Reading Room.
It
is with great gratitude that I write this testimony to the truth of Mary Baker Eddy's statement.
I am
happy and infinitely grateful to have been able to demonstrate often the power of divine Love, thanks to Christian Science, which I have been practicing for several years.
The
illuminating statement by our Leader on page 380 of Science and Health that "Truth is always the victor" has been proven many times in my experience.
I should
like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and its healing efficacy.
A previous
testimony of mine was published in 1947, and I feel impelled to write again expressing gratitude for added blessings.
It
is with deep gratitude to God for our Master, Christ Jesus, and for our beloved Leader that I write this testimony of healing.
