When I was a young child Christian Science was brought to the attention of my family at a time when we were in great need of a better family relationship. Through the study of Science, we met this need.

I am exceedingly grateful for the number of healings I have had at home and in school. Perhaps my outstanding healing is the following one.

One afternoon, while I was at school, I experienced a severe pain in my abdomen. I immediately began to declare the omnipotence of God and the powerlessness of error, but the pain was so intense that I decided that it would be wisdom to leave the classroom. The school nurse telephoned my mother, who came immediately and drove me home.
