RADIO PROGRAM No. 77 - If Your Life Has Been a Disappointment
INTERVIEWER: Many people feel that time or circumstance has robbed them of what they want most in life. Take the young person who's fooled around so long he's missed the opportunity to train for a worthwhile career. Then there are those who feel it's too late for marriage, too late for a family, too late for a satisfying and rewarding life. One of our listeners has kindly given us permission to quote from a letter which describes this feeling. She says:
"The past is mocking me with —too late—too late to pursue your ballet career further, too late to marry and raise a family—those things belong to Youth and Youth is lost to you forever!
"Truly I am learning, 'The saddest of all sad words are these— it might have been.'"
