Bless the Lord, O my soul...
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:2, 3).
Surely I will forever sing praises to God for making my pathway straight before me in leading me into the way of Christian Science. This is the precious Christ, Truth, revealed to mankind through the consecrated study of the Bible and the pure, uplifted, and unselfed prayer of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. This is the light that "giveth light unto all that are in the house" (Matt. 5:15). Its healing rays of health, harmony, peace, and hope reach out to the uttermost ends of the earth, blessing and benefiting all people everywhere.
During World War II, my husband and son were both serving in the Armed Forces of their country. My husband was stationed in a small border town. Since there were no barbers available at that time, I was asked to operate the barbershop. I agreed and operated it for more than a year. During this period I had not been feeling well, and finally things began to happen.
