A definition of sin acceptable to many people would probably be the word "wrongdoing." But what is wrongdoing? Standards and customs vary in different parts of the world, and what may be considered right and proper by people in one part of the world may not be so regarded in another. These different states of thought indicate varying standards of behavior and rectitude.
