RADIO PROGRAM No. 59 - You Cannot Lose Your Place in Life
HOST: Everybody longs to feel well established, to have a recognized place and activity of his own. But rapid changes surging through the world today have left many feeling uprooted and displaced.
In The Atlantic Monthly, William Glazier said, "Technological change, decline in some industries and growth in others, shifts in the geographical location of plants, and changes in consumer demand have caused... millions of workers to be unemployed and have kept them that way"
Now all this raises a question: Is there a way to cope with the tides of chance and change? Various means are being adopted, retraining and resettlement projects, for instance. But what about the individual facing such a problem, and his outlook on life?
