I Am writing this testimony in gratitude to God for the peace I feel. The genuine effort to live Christian Science and apply it in my life has helped me to overcome false traits of character, such as hatred, anger, resentment, criticism, and all the "self" traits. This change of thought, which was truly a blessing, brought about harmony in our home.

We have had wonderful healings in our family, such as those of a goiter, earache, toothache, acne, headaches, sinusitis, and a growth on an eyelid, as well as a complete healing of a kidney disease, so natural that the family did not realize what had happened until years later. A large wart which appeared suddenly on my hand quickly disappeared as the result of my prayerful work.

The most wonderful healing of all was the healing of fear, which would come upon me suddnely for no reason at all, and I would not be able to sleep for nights. The fear was always accompanied by a physical disturbance. I asked a practitioner for help. In just a week, while I was in church at a Wednesday testimony meeting, a feeling of complete peace came to me and has remained with me.
