A humorous story is told about a mountain climber who slipped and fell some distance down the sheer face of a mountainside. His hand suddenly grasped a small bush tenaciously rooted in the granite wall. Looking up, he could see the mountaintop wreathed in wispy clouds; looking down, the valley floor far below.
