From a Branch Church in New Zealand

"Day by day the manna fell" we read in Hymn No. 46 in the Christian Science Hymnal. We have been applying this thought to the daily activity in our Christian Science Reading Room, knowing that each day brings fresh inspiration and opportunities to present to the people of our community the vital, healing truth as revealed in Christian Science. The manna appears in different ways; for instance, in ideas for helpful displays and through the alertness of those in charge to meet the need of the moment.

We have an active staff of willing workers. Hence we have been able to open our Reading Room evenings as well as Saturdays and Sundays. Through this increase in hours the Reading Room has been able to serve many in the business community, including church members and also those visiting our city from other parts of our country and the world.

A man renewed his interest in Christian Science after thirty years. Away from home and lonely, he noticed the Reading Room open on Sunday and went in. His study there brought him a real sense of home and contentment. The following day he returned to purchase Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
