A cup cannot overflow until...
A cup cannot overflow until it has first been filled. My understanding of Christian Science has caused my cup to overflow with good, with gratitude, with joy, and with the constant evidence of God's tender care for His children, for all of which I say from a brimming heart, "Thank You, dear Father-Mother, God."
Words cannot truly express my gratitude for the fact that I have come to know God through this wonderful Science. Upon my first introduction to it, I realized that it is a religion of transcendent love and beauty.
Later, through reading the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, my mother was healed of a growth in her armpit; but it was not until I was close to utter despair over a personal relationship that I turned to Science. When I was healed of self-pity, the despair was replaced by a deep sense of joy and a great gratitude for a budding understanding of God.
