A True Picture
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Bobby could hardly keep from running up the stairs to Sunday School. He had been going to the Christian Science Sunday School for several years. Today he had a healing to share! His eyes shone with the joy of it, and he tugged at his brother's hand.
The Sunday before, the teacher had read to the class from the Bible (Gen. 1:27), "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him." Then she had opened Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and had read to them from page 259, "In divine Science, man is the true image of God."
The class had then talked about the word "image" and how it means likeness; therefore man made in God's image must be Godlike. They had talked together about being the likeness of God, the likeness of Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, divine Principle: the seven names for God they had learned.
